Yes! It seems that many restaurants are offering discounts and other incentives to groups of two for "Coiled Hearts" or "Valentinian."

As I understand it, going on a date is essentially the same as hanging out normally, so there is no need to do anything in particular. The primary distinction is that the following are somewhat more likely on a date: one party traveling to the other's home to pick them up (rather than meeting at the venue); one party presenting the other with a small gift; and both parties making out with one another after the date's conclusion. But none of those is actually a requirement, so there's no need to give it too much thought.

"Valentine's"! That's it. You are familiar with it, then?

Well
If you mean, have I ever gone on something that was specifically intended and understood to be a date by all involved
Then no.

Yes, but I believe many of those observing Valentine's as opposed to Coiled Hearts are doing so because they are from worlds where they have that. So your knowledge may well be transferable!

I know of a few different places offering festival specials, so we have options! Is there anything you want to try?

I don't know! I have never celebrated either of them. I suppose Coiled Hearts involves two hearts entwining, and that is the reason for the encouragement of pairing up...? To be honest, I haven't really looked into it much other than to see what the special offers are.

I have many favorites! Have I taken you for crab curry yet? I know of a place with amazing crab curry. Ah, and there is "Niisan's Teppanyaki," which Okumura Rin has just opened, though I know nothing of either Niisan or Teppanyaki. There is also a restaurant in level 3 with a really incredible pheasant dish. And on level 2 a very fine establishment with an excellent "antipasto board" and various types of noodles.

On the other hand, octopus-based cuisine is apparently traditional.
So, octopus, perhaps?

An excellent idea! I shall study up on it, and perhaps we can discuss the tradition's origin, significance, &c. on our date.

If you are certain you have no preference, then I am happy to decide. When shall we go? (Dates frequently but not always take place in the evening)

The evening of the fourteenth, then. I'll be eagerly awaiting it.
